Bespoke Bunting Projects

 

We can create bunting to your specific colour palette, theme and incorporate ideas that can compliment your event.  We then send fabric options / choices over by email or post to check that they fit with your theme.

 

Once you are happy with the selection of fabrics we then can begin cutting all the fabric into triangles, followed by the sewing and then pinning and sewing the binding to the flags.  We can also alternate the binding (strings) so that all the colours being used are maximised to full effect.

 

 

We like to keep you posted of the progress throughout the whole process too by sending a few photos. The bunting is then completed and either delivered locally before the event or can be sent via special delivery. This bunting project reminded us of battenberg sponge cake and pink & yellow sherbet bon bons! mmmmm!

 

 

My Beautiful Laundrette

We thought the retro charm of our local laundrette provided a suitably unique back-drop to our signature leopard print and gold bunting. Summer Party, Oxfordshire

We love an excuse to put some bunting up and last month we had the perfect opportunity at a summer family garden party. There were lots of little ones attending and we wanted to make sure they were well catered for too so we created some goody bags for them. 

We knew the goody bags would compliment the bunting and be a special addition to the day! The bags were filled with jelly babies, milk gums, and all kinds of old school favourites. The children played games all afternoon and then were each given their own goody bag with a personalised label.  They loved them!

Vintage Theme Hen Party!

What better way to spend a sunny Saturday than with some of  your closest friends, making the most of Oxford. We were part of a lovely hen party, and of course we couldn't resist taking some of our bunting along for the trip too, and even branched out and made some vintage pinnies too!

Although we loved the pinnies as they were, we thought we could do more to make them extra special. We took them along to the t-shirt printing shop in the Westgate where we had them personalised.

After eating far too many cakes in our pinnies we headed off to the main event, our private cruise with Oxford River Cruises. Our boat was called Bacchanalia and was perfect for our small group, we took the chance to decorate it before the bride joined us and it looked beautiful.

Our vintage floral bunting looked perfect on the boat in the sunshine, it's available to hire now if you would like to see it at your event this summer. As it was a special occasion we treated ourselves to the Pimms cruise which was on board ready for us. We also requested a gramophone which went perfectly with our retro theme!

We had a brilliant afternoon on the river, and the bride-to-be had the perfect send off. Thanks to Oxford River Cruises for making the afternoon so special. If you want to hire the bunting we used then just get in touch, we'd be happy to make your event memorable too!

Chipping Norton Literary Festival

Back in March we made some bunting for the Chipping Norton Literary Festival. It was lovely to be part of this event as it was the first year it had taken place. We did an interview with Jack FM this week where we talked about bunting bringing a community together, and this was a great example of that.
